Wheat Bran

The bran is the outermost protective coating of the wheat kernel. It is obtained by grinding clean and dehusked berries and screen with a plansifter 50% (or more) of the wheat flour.

Wheat Bran consists mainly of fragments of the outer skins and of particles of grain from which the greater part of the endosperm has been removed.

Wheat Bran is one of nature’s richest sources of Natural Food Fiber, and provides a healthy full-bodied texture when added to baked goods or sprinkled over soups, cereals or salads. Also, it offers magnesium and selenium and aids in the reduction of cholesterol.

Whether cooked as cereal or added to baked goods, our wheat bran, elaborated with selected grains, is ideal for elaborating products with high dietary fiber content.
